Fabrice, could you tell us about your career path?
I have done a lot of things, with a lot of versatility.
I first completed a professional degree in Electrical Engineering, before earning a new degree in Automation and Hydraulics. I started as an electrician in a company, in which I stayed 11 years. I then went to work as a maintenance agent for a printing company. And now here I am today in Marrel, where I’m in charge of the Assembly Production Unit.
How does a typical day look like in Marrel?
As a production manager, my days are very varied and busy! Most of my job involves team cohesion and management. In the team, we are about 30 people, including 3 areas managers. We plan together meeting, schedules, and we support each other. Sometimes, I also do a bit of operational work by taking part in assembly operations.
What do you like the most about your job?
It’s a job full of challenges. You have to constantly improve, go further, and that’s what drives me every day.
I also really enjoy the management part with my team, and of course the versatility of the job.
What does Marrel mean to you?
Marrel, it is the company in which my father used to work. He was a warehouseman, and he was the one who got me interested in the company. I entered the company as a temporary worker, and very shortly I have had the opportunity to obtain a permanent contract.
The company has always been part of my life and I really care about it. I’m proud of what I’ve done here, and I can’t wait to keep going!
